SLR deliver record sales at Springfields Outlet & Leisure with four consecutive weeks setting new records, and overall up 11% on 2022

  • Week 50 saw record sales up £83.8K
  • Calendar year turnover is up 11% v 2022, and up 20% v 2019, pre-Covid
  • Weekly footfall was also exceptionally strong, up 20% v 2022
  • 5 stores traded with annualised densities above £1,000/ sq ft
  • The new Levi’s store continues to trade very strongly 
  • The Winter Wonderland Walk attracted 30,000 visitors enjoying the hugely popular experience 
  • With nine asset management deals completed in 12 months, including new lettings to Levi’s and Cadbury, Springfields is currently fully let
  • The future looks bright with former Frankie & Benny’s unit acquired as part of further scheme developments planned for 2024 and 2025

Springfields Outlet and Leisure continues to grow year on year, reinforcing its position as having one of the strongest growth rates in the UK on the back of 17 years sales increases, bar-Covid. Weekly sales have consistently delivered double-digit growth, with the highest weekly sales on record being beaten on four consecutive weeks in this Christmas period. Christmas late night shopping turnover has proved particularly strong. The Winter Wonderland Christmas Walk has been increased in size and demand for tickets are substantially up on 2022. This event, together with the sold-out November fireworks, make Springfields a repeat family destination for the whole region.
