“The inspiration for The Parlour is to create a high level of gentrification and aspiration in our restaurant. A destination where the ambiance, quality of food, service, and point of difference is first rate. The décor and setting bring back the age of elegance from the Edwardian era with finely dressed ladies and gentlemen, conservatories and gardens. The restaurant will complement the gardens and satisfy guests who appreciate fine food and gardens”, said Alan Roper, Managing Director of Blue Diamond.
Designed to capture the best of the Age of Edwardian elegance with meticulous attention to detail, waiter service and ambience, The Parlour delivers a five-star experience and is a destination in its own right.
True to Springfields promise to its guests, prices are kept competitive, and Springfields VIPs and Diamond Club members will be privy to invitations for exclusive events.
“Springfields Outlet continues its transformation to an ever-more premium outlet centre with the forthcoming opening of The Parlour Restaurant, complementing brands like Dune London, Joules, White Stuff and Radley. The new restaurant will deliver an experience for our guests looking for something a little bit special during their visit. Edwardian elegance with a modern twist.”, said Ian Sanderson, Director of Springfields Outlet and Leisure and SLR Outlets.
Afternoon Tea was introduced in England by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, in 1840. The Duchess and her friends found they were peckish in the afternoon and wanted something special and delicate to tide them over until dinner. Afternoon Tea was born and grw to national popularity in the Edwardian era and was made even more famous by The Ritz, Betty’s Tea Rooms and many others. Now The Parlour brings Lincolnshire the very best of Afternoon Teas with a wonderful choice of delicate finger sandwiches, French fancies, scones, preserve, clotted cream, and the finest loose-leaf tea, all served in exquisite style by our expert waiters.
Positioned on the A16 near Spalding, Lincs, Springfields is the premier leisure and retail destination serving the whole of the East of England and East Anglia. The Parlour joins over 50 retail brands at Springfields, an event centre and hotel set in 25 acres of beautiful Festival Gardens.
