Strong fashion brand presence at Springfields
Springfields high-profile fashion brand expansion continues with the opening of the prestigious shoe and accessories brand Dune London on Friday 2nd October. Springfields and Dune London worked on the design and build in partnership and the outcome is superb with a high spec fit-out in an expanded unit in a prime location at the front of the scheme. Dune adds to the existing top-quality fashion brands of Radley London, Joules, Jack Wills, Crew Clothing, Estee Lauder and Skechers. The demand for the brand translated into record footfall at the opening with queues of eager customers all socially-distanced.

Strong sales post lockdown continues
Following 15 years of consecutive sales growth, Springfields Outlet and Leisure has once again demonstrated its resilience with very encouraging performance since reopening in June. Week after week, footfall and sales have been strong. The unique mix of outlet retail, leisure and outdoor space is proving a winner with brands and customers alike. Like for like turnover is averaging at 94% of 2019’s levels, an exceptional performance for the retail industry. Almost half of the LFL stores are trading positively with many trading with double digit uplifts. All contributing to Springfields high quality spend per visitor that is +9% year on year.
